Good Morning America Comes to Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore

Meet my new friend Sabrina Parise, a producer for Good Morning America. Sabrina was in the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore to film footage for a series called the 10 Most Beautiful Places in America. We had a wonderful day together—a born and bred New Yorker she was discovering a place she'd never even heard of before. And I was enjoying the best excuse I've had in years to play on the dunes. This is Sabrina at the top of the Pierce Stocking Drive in the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore saying: "Wow, it looks like we're on top of the globe."
Which caused me to repeat for the umpteenth time that overcast day—just wait until the sun comes out. Which it did the next day, and the day after that, and the one after that. Sabrina's footage is going to rock the world!

Catch the segment on MyNorth.com by the end of the week of August 8.
